$24-$28/hour (DOE) | 5:00am - 3:30pm Position Overvie w Action Group Staffing is seeking experienced Structural Fitter Welders to join a growing fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in fitting and welding structural steel components, with a strong ability to read blueprints and ensure precise fit-up. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements Experience as a structural fitter/welder required Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Proficient in MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel Strong knowledge of structural steel layout, fit-up, and alignment Ability to accurately measure and verify dimensions Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment Commitment to safety and OSHA standards Ability to work independently and in a team environment Pass drug screen and background check Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Lay out, position, align, and fit structural steel components Perform MIG and Flux Core welding on structural steel Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, torches, and cutting tools Measure and verify dimensions to ensure proper fit-up Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines #INDT
