As an Iron Pourer, you will be transporting molten metal from furnaces to molds and collecting samples and /or signal workers to sample metal for analysis.

Key Responsibilities Essential Job Duties:

Operate forklift. Upon obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product Will operate ladles and hand held controlled mechanisms to pour regulate flow of molten into sand molds to produce castings. Transport molten metal from furnaces to molds. Accurately read temperature gauges. Collect samples and /or signal workers to sample metal for analysis. Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.

Benefits and Compensation:

Starting pay rate $22.81 with a $2.00 shift differential for 2nd Standard shift Monday-Friday 2nd shift Offered Over Time Sundays off Health benefits, on-site nurse, 401k and Paid Holidays after 90 days All job offers are contingent upon post-hire requirements: successful background check, drug screen/physical, and completion of required paperwork

Required Skills:

Must be available for weekend and overtime assignments as required. Must be able to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Must be able to discern imperfections, understand quality of repairs of iron holders / ladles. Must be able to understand basic addition to tally units per training.
