Shop Fabricator

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to work with various tools and machinery. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality metal products according to specifications, ensuring precision and efficiency in your work. Responsibilities Utilize hand tools and power tools to fabricate metal components and assemblies. Operate machinery including press brake machines and cranes to shape and assemble materials. Perform tig and mig welding Measure and inspect finished products using micrometers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process and implement solutions as needed. Requirements Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, or a related field. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment. Familiarity with welding techniques is preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during shifts. A commitment to safety practices in the workplace.
