Metal Fabricator

We are a custom job shop that has been in business since 1978. We are looking for someone with good attention to detail to fill a full-time position as a metal fabricator. This position would include operating equipment to shear, saw, bend, and deburr parts as needed. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine specifications. Operate fabrication equipment as needed (saw, shears, Bridgeport, rolls, brake press, PEMserter) Must be willing & able to learn how to operate new equipment Perform shop math calculations to ensure accurate tolerances. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Operate machinery safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols.

Skills & Qualifications Required:

Some brake press experience required Ability to learn how to set up & adjust equipment for job Must be able to use digital calipers and read tape measure to 1/32" (will test during interview) Ability to work independently & with other team members Must have good attention to detail Must have good time management skills Must have driver's license for local deliveries & pickups when needed.
