Performs inspections on all welding and cutting equipment to ensure safe operating procedures Maintains inventory record keeping and assuring adequate material to complete all assigned work efficiently. Maintains a clean, safe work area to ensure compliance with company and OSHA requirements and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnostic and repair of electrical and hydraulic systems on compactors. Assists senior welders in the completion of project work. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, equipment maintenance and repair experience, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment, be 18 years of age or older and be legally eligible to work in the US. Welding and fabrication skills are expected and the candidate must be a self-directed person.
