In this position you will assist with building layout, fabric tensioning, steel erection and install foundations as needed for the job at hand. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects, utilizing your expertise in rigging and fabrication. As a key contributor to our projects, you'll travel to different locations, bringing your mechanical knowledge and construction experience to life while ensuring safety and quality standards are met every step of the way. Travel is mainly from Monday to Friday with weekends off . If you're passionate about building strong structures and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you! Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes. Rig and maneuver heavy steel components with cranes, forklifts, or other rigging equipment safely on construction sites. Always maintain safety protocols at all times while working with mechanical systems, power tools, and heavy machinery across multiple locations. Requirements Proven construction site experience with a strong background in steel erection or structural iron work. Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret schematics for fabrication and assembly tasks. Familiarity with rigging procedures, crane operation, pipe threading, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation. Willingness to travel extensively between project sites with a flexible schedule; ability to work in various environmental conditions is required.
