Metal Fabricator

Savvy Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator for a growing manufacturing company in Cumberland, RI. Schedule Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Job Summary The Metal Fabricator is responsible for setting up and operating metal fabrication equipment, supporting production activities, training team members, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities Set up and stage workstations and required materials for daily production.

Operate and support equipment including:

Amada Press Brakes PEM Machines Spot Welders Assign responsibilities and tasks to team members as needed. Communicate effectively with team members and management. Identify production inefficiencies and recommend process improvements. Train new employees on machinery operation, safety procedures, and company processes. Ensure all safety regulations, company policies, and manufacturing standards are followed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read, analyze, and interpret product drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with management to meet production goals, deadlines, and expectations. Ability to accurately complete required paperwork and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator, Production Supervisor, or in a similar manufacturing role preferred. Authorization to work in the United States required. Physical Requirements Ability to lift more than 35 pounds. Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move throughout the workday. Ability to stand for extended periods while operating machinery and performing fabrication tasks.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
