Scope of the position:
Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components and structures, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Key Responsibility Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components using various tools and equipment. Cut, weld, and shape metal pieces to assemble structural frameworks and machinery parts. Inspect fabricated components for quality and accuracy and make necessary adjustments. Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure manufacturability and functionality of fabricated components. Key Performance Indicators Accuracy and precision of fabricated components. Compliance with quality and safety standards. Decision making authority Selection of fabrication techniques and materials, and recommendations for process improvements. The above is not exhaustive.
