Metal Fabricator

Condustrial, Inc. is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator for a full-time, temporary-to-permanent position with a well-established company located in Roebuck, SC, with over 40 years of experience in total, they offer full service welding and metal fabrication, diamond cutting, and plasma cutting services for custom concrete forms and other structural welding.

Shift:

8AM-5PM | Monday-Friday Responsibilities Interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal components. Operate a variety of fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, press brake machines, and welding tools such as

MIG, TIG, FCAW

(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), and welding techniques. Measure and mark materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to ensure accurate cuts and assemblies. Perform welding tasks with proficiency in MIG, TIG, Soldering, and FCAW processes to join sheet metal, pipes, or structural components. Use power tools and hand tools safely to cut, shape, drill, and assemble metal parts according to specifications. Operate cranes or rigging equipment safely for lifting heavy materials or assemblies on construction sites. Maintain compliance with ASME codes & standards during fabrication processes. Conduct quality checks on finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools. Support fabrication of ductwork, structural steel components, or custom metal assemblies for diverse projects. Follow safety protocols rigorously in both manufacturing facilities and construction environments. Skills Proven experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments involving metal fabrication. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, machining operations, soldering techniques, and assembly processes. Familiarity with rigging practices including crane operation for lifting heavy materials safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise fabrication.
