Job Description

Welding & Shop Helper Pay:
$19.00 per hour
Available Shifts:
1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM - 3:00 AM. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Welding & Shop Helper to support our fabrication and welding operations. This position assists welders and shop personnel with measuring, material preparation, grinding, and general labor tasks to help ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Assist welders with setup, material handling, and preparation of workpieces. Measure, mark, and verify material dimensions using tape measures and other measuring tools. Grind, clean, and finish welded parts and fabricated components. Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop. Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively. Perform general labor duties, including cleaning work areas and maintaining shop organization. Assist with assembly, staging, and packaging of completed products. Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Support production teams with additional shop tasks as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, fabrication, welding helper, or general labor experience preferred. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Experience using grinders and common hand tools is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a team environment. Benefits Competitive pay starting at $19.00 per hour. Four-day work week with three-day weekends.
