This is a hands-on role for a skilled professional who can read shop drawings, perform precise fabrication, and produce install-ready work with minimal supervision. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for dependable fabricators who take pride in clean, accurate work and understand how shop quality impacts field performance. Responsibilities Fabricate stairs, rail systems, and custom metal assemblies from shop drawings Interpret prints, layouts, and field conditions accurately Perform fit-up, welding, and finishing with attention to detail Utilize welding processes including

SMAW, GMAW

(MIG), and FCAW Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, rollers, drill presses, and grinders Build jigs and fixtures for repeatable accuracy Inspect welds and assemblies before release Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Support field installation teams as needed Requirements Minimum 2 years of metal fabrication experience Ability to independently read and interpret shop drawings Strong fit-up and layout skills Proven welding experience in multiple processes Experience with stairs, rails, or structural assemblies preferred Basic math and measurement skills Reliable work ethic and accountability for quality Preferred Certifications

SMAW, GMAW

(MIG), FCAW certifications OSHA 10 Forklift certification First Aid / CPR Work Environment Shop-based fabrication with up to 25% field exposure Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in heat, dust, and noisy environments Ability to climb ladders and work at heights

Pay:

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
