We are a leading Dallas manufacturing company seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our Metal Fabrication Department. This role focuses on production welding of light-gauge steel using both MIG and TIG processes. Prior experience welding sheet metal or light-gauge steel is preferred. This is a hands-on position requiring clean, consistent welds on thin material in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:
Perform production MIG and TIG welding on light-gauge steel components and assemblies Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders Set up and adjust welding equipment for material thickness and joint type Control heat and technique to avoid burn-through and distortion on thin material Fit, tack, fixture, and position parts for welding Inspect completed welds for penetration, consistency, and appearance Grind, deburr, and finish welds as needed Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required
PPE Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old Proven MIG and TIG welding experience, production environment preferred Ability to weld light-gauge steel cleanly without burn-through or excessive warping Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and basic measurements Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with shop tools Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to quality
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
