Fitter/Welder

Summary As a Fitter at Classic Steel, LLC, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, responsible for assembling and fabricating steel components. This role is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality products while ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications. Assemble and fabricate steel using hand tools and machinery. Utilize soldering techniques to join steel parts securely. Measure and cut materials accurately using calipers and other measuring tools. Rig materials for lifting with cranes or other equipment as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals effectively. Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Qualifications Proven experience as a fitter or similar role in the manufacturing industry. Strong skills in steel assembly and fabrication techniques. Familiarity with soldering methods and practices. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to use hand tools, machinery, and equipment safely and effectively. Experience with machining processes is a plus but not required. Knowledge of rigging principles is beneficial but not mandatory.
