Job Description FITTER/WELDERMonday
  • Friday, mandatory overtime as needed 6:00 am
  • 6:00 pm $22.00

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
Fabrication & Fitting:
 Lay out, position, align, and fit metal components together according to blueprints, schematics, and structural drawings.
Welding Processes:
 Operate welding equipment (primarily MIG, Flux Core, and Stick/SMAW) to join or cut metal parts.
Production & Assembly:
 Build, repair, and maintain oilfield products, including tanks, vessels, and structural components.
Quality Control:
 Inspect finished products for completeness and conformance to quality assurance procedures.
Problem Solving:
 Troubleshoot and adjust welding machines to maintain production efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
Experience:
 Minimum 2-4 years of experience in welding and fitting, particularly with industrial, pipe, or structural steel in an oilfield environment.
Technical Skills:
 Ability to read blueprints, drawings, understand welding symbols, and read a tape measure. 
Equipment Proficiency:
 Experience with MIG (GMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), and Stick (SMAW) welding techniques.
