We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling metal components, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring the quality of finished products. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure and cut materials using tools such as saws and shears.
- Fit and assemble metal components according to project specifications.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter or similar role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
- Ability to operate fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Good physical stamina and strength to handle job demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
