Role Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fitter to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity based in Humble, TX. The Fitter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, assembling and fitting metal components, ensuring precise alignment, and verifying specifications to meet project requirements. Day-to-day tasks include cutting, shaping, and welding materials, conducting quality checks, and collaborating with the engineering team to maintain structural and dimensional accuracy. Qualifications Proficiency in blueprint reading, layout, and assembly of structural and mechanical components Experience with metal cutting, shaping, and welding tools and machinery Strong understanding of safety practices in a fabrication environment Attention to detail and the ability to verify measurements and specifications accurately Problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Work experience in fabrication/construction industries is preferred High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications are a plus
