Measure materials precisely with calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure accurate fabrication dimensions. Operate cranes and rigging equipment safely during lifting and positioning of heavy components on construction sites or in manufacturing facilities. Conduct pipe threading, machining, and assembly of structural elements while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials efficiently while following safety guidelines at all times. Experience Proven construction site experience with a solid understanding of fabrication processes in industrial or commercial settings. Hands-on experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, press brake operation, and sheet metal fabrication. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical drawings is essential. Ability to operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and specialized machinery such as pipe threading machines or machining centers. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices is highly desirable. Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication tasks.
