Ironworker

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of metal structures and frameworks, ensuring safety and quality standards are met on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assemble and install metal frameworks, including beams, columns, and trusses. Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and layout. Utilize tools such as micrometers and press brake machines for precise measurements. Perform pipe threading and soldering tasks as required. Operate forklifts to transport materials safely around the construction site. Conduct routine inspections of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety. Experience Proven experience in ironworking or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in construction environments. Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Ability to operate various tools and machinery safely, including forklifts. Experience in assembling metal structures is highly desirable.
