About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality components by utilizing advanced MIG welding techniques. You will contribute to the structural integrity and aesthetic finish of various metal products, ensuring that every project meets rigorous industry standards and production timelines. Responsibilities Execute precise MIG welds across a diverse range of metal types and thicknesses to meet project specifications. Interpret complex blueprints and technical work orders to ensure accurate part fabrication and assembly. Achieve high-level production outcomes by maintaining tight tolerances during the metal joining process. Enhance product quality through expert grinding, deburring, and final metal finishing techniques. Operate overhead cranes and essential shop machinery safely to maximize workflow efficiency. Conduct thorough inspections of finished welds to guarantee structural soundness and visual excellence. Uphold a high standard of workplace safety and organization to support a productive manufacturing environment. Qualifications Required Skills Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional MIG welding capacity. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and welding symbols. Proficiency in utilizing precision measuring tools to ensure component accuracy. Possession of personal welding gear required for on-site technical assessment. Preferred Skills Prior experience with industrial grinders and various metal finishing equipment. Strong commitment to quality control and continuous improvement in fabrication. Ability to adapt to different manufacturing environments and project requirements.
