Job Description
We are looking for a skilled, hands-on Machinist / Fabricator. Mechanical knowledge is a bonus. AutoCAD/ Solidworks knowledge preferred. Ability to operate a plasma table is also a plus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving real problems, and building custom parts that keep equipment running. This is NOT a CNC production role. We are looking for someone experienced in manual machining, fabrication, and welding who can work independently and take ownership of their work. What You'll Do Operate manual machining equipment (lathe, mill, drill press, band saw) Perform metal fabrication, bending, and forming Recreate worn or broken parts using measurement and practical problem-solving Fabricate and modify components Support the mechanical team with equipment repairs and modifications Respond to urgent production issues with fast, effective solutions What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in manual machining, fabrication, or industrial environments Strong experience with: Manual lathe and mill Fabrication and metalworking Ability to work independently and manage your own workload Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting What Sets This Role Apart Hands-on, problem-solving role — not repetitive CNC work Climate controlled shop- Kept close to 68 degrees High level of autonomy Direct impact on reducing downtime and improving efficiency Apply Today If you're a skilled machinist/fabricator who enjoys solving problems and working independently, we'd like to hear from you.
