2-4 weeks About Us Sky Forge Metalworks is a high-end custom fabrication company specializing in architectural railings, forged components, and premium metalwork for residential and commercial clients. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism from design to installation. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator who is comfortable working in the shop and traveling regionally for on-site work averaging two days per week . This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality builds, works well independently and on a team, and can represent the company professionally on job sites. Key Responsibilities Fabricate railings, balusters, panels, and custom metal components according to drawings and specifications MIG welding, layout, cutting, grinding, drilling, and fit-up Operate shop tools (bandsaws, drill presses, grinders, welders, etc.) Load, transport, and install finished products on-site Maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment Communicate effectively with the team, foreman, and clients during installations Follow safety guidelines and proper equipment handling procedures Travel Requirements Travel 2 days per week (on average) for installation or jobsite work Company vehicle provided for travel days Occasional overtime depending on project needs Qualifications 2+ years of metal fabrication or welding experience preferred Strong MIG welding skills (certifications a plus) Ability to read tape measures, drawings, and basic layout Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders when needed Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Must be comfortable representing the company on customer sites What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent full-time hours Opportunities for skill growth and advancement Supportive, team-focused work environment High-end, interesting projects — not repetitive production welding How to Apply Email your résumé and work experience to skyforge2014@gmail.
