I, II & III
is responsible for supporting the commissioning and decommissioning of conventional and high-pressure compressors, coordinating pressure testing activities, bringing new units online, and participating in facility expansion and startup efforts. This role supports compressor facility operations through inspections, troubleshooting, reporting, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, and contractor teams. Key Responsibilities Commission and decommission conventional and high-pressure compressors Coordinate pressure tests and place new units into service Inspect new builds and facility expansions during construction Conduct final inspections and participate in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs) Support daily compressor and compressor facility operations Perform basic troubleshooting and assist with equipment diagnosis and repair activities Maintain accurate reporting and documentation related to facility operations and JBPE requirements Collaborate with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, Lease Operators, and contractors Handle on-call responsibilities and travel to field locations using a company vehicle Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2.5 years of mechanical or oilfield experience preferred Prior compressor gas lift operations experience preferred Knowledge of ancillary compressor equipment, including fuel gas skids and gas-driven engines Knowledge of medium-voltage transformers, VFDs, and electric motors Familiarity with automation and control systems related to gas compression Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record required Equipment / Allowances Agency-provided ½-ton vehicle Tools provided, including toolbox, ratpack, temperature gun, socket set, and hand tools 4-gas monitor supplied by XOM Interview Process 30-minute meet and greet In-person interview preferred; Zoom available if needed BriCU95owH
