Our client, a leading atmospheric solutions company specializing in wellhead and VRU compression, is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join their team. This is a local position so you must be located within 30 miles of Midland, TX. Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR, physical, and drug screening as a requirement for this position.

6 am•5 pm Monday•Friday (occasional on-call weekends, after hours)

Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety protocols and customer-specific safety requirements at job sites to maintain a safety-conscious work environment.
Equipment Assembly & Maintenance:
Build and assemble mechanical components according to specifications, and perform routine maintenance tasks on CNG engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tuning.
Inventory Management:
Track and manage inventory on the service truck, accurately charging out parts to maintain correct counts.
Diagnostics & Repairs:
Inspect natural gas compression units, conduct diagnostic tests, and handle complex repairs related to CNG fuel systems and engine components.
Emissions Testing:
Conduct emissions tests on CNG compressors to ensure compliance with local and federal standards.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with various natural gas compression units Basic knowledge of multimeter use for diagnosing electrical issues Experience with automation controls preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and attention to detail. Daily field travel required, with up to 75% of time spent outdoors. #OFI
