We specialize in high-end residential projects, creating outdoor spaces that are thoughtfully designed, expertly installed, and built to last. Our team is experienced, close-knit, and genuinely proud of the work we deliver to our clients. Position Overview We are looking for a skilled Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis at our Little Rock location. The primary focus of this role is high-end residential design — creating detailed, creative, and accurate plans for custom outdoor living environments. In addition to residential design work, this position also performs takeoffs and bidding support on commercial projects, though commercial design is not part of the role. The right candidate brings both a strong design sensibility and the discipline to own estimates and billing for their own projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Develop complete residential landscape designs, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, and cohesive site concepts that reflect each client's vision and the character of their property. Create accurate estimates and manage billing for all assigned residential design projects — owning this process from initial scope through final invoice. Produce detailed construction documents, CAD drawings, and 3D renderings to communicate design intent clearly to clients and installation crews. Incorporate hardscape elements — including pergolas, pavilions, outdoor fireplaces and fire features, patios, and pools — into cohesive overall site designs that feel intentional and well-integrated. Meet with clients throughout the design process to present concepts, gather feedback, and ensure the finished plan reflects their goals and budget. Perform material and quantity takeoffs and contribute to bidding on commercial projects as needed (commercial design work is not part of this role). Coordinate with project managers and installation teams to ensure designs are executed as intended and specifications are clearly communicated. Review project sites as needed to inform design decisions, verify conditions, and support accurate estimating. Maintain organized project files and documentation, keeping design records and billing information current and accurate. Requirements 3 to 5 years of professional experience in landscape design or landscape architecture, with a portfolio that demonstrates high-end residential project work. Proficiency in CAD software and 3D rendering tools used for landscape and site design. Strong knowledge of hardscape design, including outdoor structures (pergolas, pavilions, shade structures), fireplaces and fire features, patios, pools, and how these elements integrate with the surrounding planting and landscape. Demonstrated ability to create estimates and manage project billing independently — this is a core expectation of the role, not a secondary task. Experience with commercial project takeoffs and bidding processes. Equally strong creative and technical abilities — designs must be both imaginative and buildable, with accuracy in measurements, specifications, and material selections. Confident, professional communication skills for client-facing interactions, including presenting designs and discussing project details. Solid understanding of plant materials appropriate for the Arkansas climate and their role in overall site design. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping details organized and deadlines on track. Preferred Qualifications Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license or CLARB certification, or active progress toward licensure. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their integration into residential landscape design. Experience managing projects from design through installation, with involvement in scheduling, contractor coordination, or on-site oversight. What We Offer Competitive compensation commensurate with experience. Health benefits. Paid time off. A stable, supportive work environment with a team that takes pride in doing quality work. How to Apply Please submit the following to be considered for this position: A current resume. A cover letter describing your relevant experience and why this role is a good fit. Portfolio samples demonstrating your residential design work, including any projects that feature hardscape elements.
