The Role We are seeking an Experienced Irrigation & Landscape Lighting Estimator and Sales Representative to act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients. In this role, you will conduct site visits, assess client needs, design efficient systems, and generate accurate bids. You are the bridge between our clients' vision and our installation teams. The ideal candidate isn't just a skilled estimator—they are a consultative salesperson who understands the technical nuances of water management and low-voltage lighting.

Key Responsibilities Client Consultation & Sales:

Meet with residential and commercial clients on-site to evaluate their properties, listen to their needs, and pitch tailored irrigation and lighting solutions.

Estimating & Proposals:

Perform accurate material take-offs and labor calculations. Draft, present, and follow up on professional, detailed proposals to close sales.

System Design:

Conceptualize and map out smart irrigation systems and aesthetic low-voltage landscape lighting designs that meet local codes and efficiency standards.

Project Handoff:

Work closely with the installation and service crews to ensure a seamless transition from the signed contract to project completion.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners, property managers, landscape architects, and homebuilders to generate referrals and repeat business.

What We're Looking For Experience:

3+ years of proven experience in landscape/irrigation estimating and sales.

Technical Expertise:

Deep understanding of smart irrigation controllers, valves, drip systems, water-efficiency standards, and low-voltage LED landscape lighting design.

Sales Acumen:

A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. You should be comfortable with objection handling, upselling, and closing.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to explain complex systems to clients in a way that is easy to understand.

Software Proficiency:

Experience with estimating software, CRM platforms (e.g., ServiceFusion, Jobber), and standard office software.

Requirements:

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
