We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Landscape Designer/Director with a specialized focus on single-family residential and hospitality projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of landscape design principles, project management, project delivery, and client relations. They will collaborate closely with architects, planners, and other team members to design and implement innovative, sustainable, and aesthetically appealing landscapes for high-end residential and hospitality clients.Key Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of landscape projects with a focus on residential and hospitality environments. Manage all aspects of project delivery, from initial consultation through to construction documentation and implementation. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project objectives, design standards, and schedules are met. Develop creative and functional landscape designs that integrate well with residential architecture and outdoor spaces. Supervise and mentor junior landscape architects, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality design output. Conduct site analysis, environmental assessments, and material selection to ensure the sustainability and durability of landscape designs. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, budgets, and cost estimates for projects. Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback into final designs. Stay current with industry trends, sustainable practices, and materials to deliver innovative solutions. Ensure compliance with zoning, building codes, and local regulations related to landscape architecture. Attend site visits as required during the design and construction phasesRequirements:
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture Minimum of 7-10 years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio of completed residential landscape projects. Proven experience in all phases of design and project management for residential properties. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software. Strong knowledge of plant materials, sustainable design practices, and hardscape installation techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams. Project management experience, including the ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and coordinate project teams.Preferred Skills:
Experience in high-end residential landscape design and an understanding of market trends. Familiarity with landscape lighting design, irrigation systems, and water features.
