In this role, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, develop detailed landscape plans, and oversee project execution from concept through construction. Your expertise in landscape architecture, horticulture, and construction will drive the creation of beautiful, environmentally responsible residential landscapes that enhance property value and outdoor living experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical skills, and passion for sustainable design. Duties Meet with clients to gather project requirements, preferences, and site-specific details Develop comprehensive landscape designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhino 3D, Revit, and Civil 3D Create detailed drawings and visualizations with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively Incorporate sustainable practices by integrating irrigation systems, native plantings, and eco-friendly materials Prepare construction documents including grading plans, hardscape layouts, planting schemes, and specifications Collaborate with civil engineers and land surveyors to ensure accurate land surveying and civil engineering integration Estimate project costs by conducting construction estimating and coordinating with contractors for budgeting and scheduling Oversee project implementation ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols Coordinate with landscape maintenance teams post-installation to ensure long-term landscape health and sustainability Stay updated on industry trends such as GIS mapping (ArcView/ArcGIS), land surveying techniques, and sustainable landscaping innovations Experience Proven experience in residential landscape design or related fields such as horticulture or civil engineering Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Rhinoceros 3D, Land Surveying tools, and Revit Strong skills in visualization tools like SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop for client presentations Knowledge of GIS applications (ArcView/ArcGIS) for site analysis and planning purposes Familiarity with construction processes related to hardscape installation, irrigation systems, and landscape construction management Experience in drafting technical documents, construction estimating, and project management practices Understanding of sustainable design principles including native plantings, water conservation strategies, and eco-friendly materials Ability to interpret civil engineering plans and land surveying data accurately Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration Join us to craft inspiring outdoor spaces that blend creativity with environmental responsibility!
