The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a Landscape Architecture Student Assistant, in a learning capacity, under the close supervision of a Senior Landscape Architect. In a learning capacity, the student assistant will work with staff providing technical support related to design activities. The student assistant, in a learning capacity, will assist in CADD drafting, calculations, computer application use, plan review, project documentation, organization of reference materials, acquisition and analysis of data, and preparation of reports and presentations as well as other duties acquiring professional experience in the field of transportation landscape architecture.
