Commission-Based About Us We are a small established but growing landscape construction company based in Vacaville, in business since 1978. We design and build high-end outdoor living spaces and complete full back yard transformations. We have an effective lead generation system and relationships with several General Contractors, and Pool Builders, including a close partnership with the largest volume builder of pools in the region. We pride ourselves on Exceptional Service, Craftsmanship, and Professionalism. Position Overview We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Outside Salesperson to generate new business, design outdoor spaces, and manage projects from concept through completion. This is a 100% commission-based role ideal for a confident sales professional who wants uncapped earning potential, flexibility, and the ability to leave a lasting legacy through transformative landscape construction projects that will stand the test of time. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Contact leads received through the company's established lead-generation channels Prospect and generate new leads through networking, referrals, and self-driven outreach Meet with clients to assess needs, preferences, and project scope Prepare and present detailed proposals, estimates, and contracts Close sales and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets Landscape & Hardscape Design Collaborate with clients to develop creative and functional outdoor designs Create conceptual layouts, material selections, and project plans Recommend planting, hardscaping, outdoor structures, pools, and layout solutions tailored to client goals and site conditions Utilize Structure Studio VIP 3D design software to communicate ideas effectively Project Management Oversee projects from sale through installation and completion Coordinate with Construction Manager to ensure timely execution Manage client relationship through all stages of design, contracting, and construction Conduct site visits to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Proven experience in sales, preferably in landscaping, hardscaping, or construction Strong understanding of landscape design principles and materials or a willingness to learn quickly on the job. Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Skills Experience with design software (Structure Studio, CAD, SketchUp, or similar) Knowledge of local plant species, irrigation systems, and hardscape installation methods Existing network or book of business in the industry Compensation & Benefits 100% commission structure with uncapped earning potential High commission rates based on project value Flexible schedule and autonomy Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company Why Join Us?
