About the Role We are looking for a motivated team member to fill our Landscape Design Support job opening. This part-time and flexible position is a dynamic role designed for an individual who is eager to master practical design skills while collaborating with a highly creative and supportive team. In this role, you will report directly to the Design & Sales Manager and work closely with our Lead Designers to provide crucial design support services. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the landscape architecture field, offering hands-on experience in drafting, graphic production, project estimating, and site mapping, all while maintaining the beauty of the Boulder community. Primary Responsibilities Adopting Core Values

  • Represent the company in a professional manner at all times to customers, fellow employees, suppliers, subcontractors, and the general public. AutoCAD Drafting & Graphic Support
  • Draft precise base maps and design drawings using AutoCAD. Create stunning visuals using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp following our standard protocols. On-Site Base Mapping
  • Head out into the field to accurately map properties per Native Edge standards upon request. Project Estimating Support
  • Assist in bringing designs to life by locating and pricing plants and job-specific construction materials. Generate project takeoffs in AutoCAD and compile price estimates using Aspire and Microsoft Excel. Project Management Support
  • Compile essential pre-construction project documents per Native Edge standards to ensure a seamless handoff to our production teams. Time Management
  • Maintain an accurate record of requested tasks, completed tasks, and your time allocations using Aspire software, proactively communicating budget needs with the Design & Sales Manager.

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Landscape Architecture or a design-related field. Technical Skills
  • Proficient with computer-aided design software (AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Google Suite is preferred, and you must have the ability to learn cloud-based applications like Aspire. Industry Knowledge
  • A basic knowledge of landscape/hardscape installation processes and horticultural knowledge specific to the Colorado climate. Driving
  • A valid Driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) deemed acceptable by our auto insurance carrier. Organization & Communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding time management, and the ability to stay organized and meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects. Physical & Cognitive Endurance
  • Comfort with prolonged sedentary work and viewing computer monitors for extended periods. You should also have the cognitive endurance to handle shifting priorities, and the ability to walk on uneven surfaces during site visits. Legal Status
