As we expand, we're looking for talented and dedicated Native Landscape Designers to join our team and bring help create beautifully meaningful spaces that reconnect people with nature. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Native Landscape Designer with a strong understanding of Florida's native and edible plant species to create fully immersive plant palettes for clients to experience. This role involves creating landscape designs that are innovative and aesthetically pleasing, environmentally friendly, and tailored to our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will be local to Florida and possess a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for sustainable landscaping. Designer must be proficient in AutoCAD, 3D renderings, and technical drafting for our project team to execute on. Key Responsibilities Develop creative and detailed landscape designs using native plants suitable for Central Florida's climate. Collaborate with clients and teammates to understand their vision and preferences, offering expert advice on native plant selection and landscape layout. Prepare project quotes, including cost estimates and timelines. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in native landscaping and sustainable design. Requirements Proven experience in landscape design, with a strong portfolio showcasing native plant projects. In-depth knowledge of Central Florida's native and edible plants, soil types, and climate conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively. Proficiency in landscape design software, particularly AutoCAD. SketchUp, Lumion or Vectorworks preferred. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be local to Florida.
