This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on innovative outdoor spaces, supporting senior designers with creative design development, technical drafting, and project coordination. You'll be instrumental in transforming client visions into stunning, sustainable landscapes that enhance communities and environments. Ideal candidates are passionate about landscape design, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to impactful projects across diverse settings. Assist in developing conceptual and detailed landscape design plans using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino 3D. Support senior designers with site analysis, land surveying data interpretation, and GIS mapping using ArcGIS or ArcView. Prepare visual presentations and renderings utilizing Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design ideas effectively. Contribute to the creation of construction documents, including planting plans, hardscape layouts, irrigation systems, and grading details. Collaborate on project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting estimates, and coordinating with contractors for landscape construction and installation. Conduct site visits for landscape maintenance assessments, progress tracking, and quality control during construction phases. Assist in sustainable design practices by integrating eco-friendly materials, water-efficient irrigation systems, and low-impact development techniques. Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D modeling and visualization of landscape concepts. Strong knowledge of GIS tools like ArcGIS or ArcView for spatial analysis and land use planning. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Rhinoceros 3D for drafting detailed plans. Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite for rendering and presentation purposes. Understanding of horticulture principles, plant selection, and landscape maintenance practices. Knowledge of construction processes including hardscape installation, land surveying, and construction estimating. Ability to manage projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in sustainable design solutions.
