Job Description

An industry leading multidisciplinary firm is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex municipal and public-sector projects from concept through construction. This role provides both technical and design leadership, manages project teams, oversees budgets and schedules, and serves as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The position also plays an important role in mentoring staff, advancing design standards, and supporting the organization's long-term growth and reputation.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead the planning, design, and execution of complex, high-profile municipal projectsReview and approve design concepts, construction documents, and technical deliverablesManage project scope, budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful deliveryAct as the primary client liaison, presenting solutions and incorporating feedbackMentor and guide Landscape Architects and junior design staffCollaborate with engineers, planners, contractors, and regulatory agenciesPerform site visits to support construction and maintain design intentContribute to design standards, best practices, and continuous improvement effortsQualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape ArchitectureRegistered Landscape Architect (RLA) required (Florida preferred or obtained within 6 months)Minimum of 8 years of professional landscape architecture experienceAt least 3 years of team leadership or supervisory experienceProven experience leading municipal or public-sector projectsAdvanced proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D or Revit experience preferredProficiency in visualization tools (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion)Working knowledge of Adobe Creative SuiteFamiliarity with GIS and project management software preferredStrong leadership, communication, and project management skillsBenefits/EnviormentHybrid flexibility offeredCombination of office-based work and regular site visitsOccasional travel to project sites and client meetingsOpportunity to lead impactful, community-focused projectsCollaborative, multidisciplinary team environmentMentorship and leadership development opportunitiesCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefitsClear path for professional growth and advancement
