Landscape Designer and Architect

Dickson Design Studio is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Designer to help shape commercial developments across the Chicagoland region. The ideal candidate brings:

Required:

• Landscape Architecture degree or similar field (horticulture, graphic arts, technical drafting)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Desire to listen, respond, and continuously eager to learn
• Organization and initiative

Preferred:

• 2D rendering and 3D modeling experience (Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar platforms)
• Knowledge of Zone 5 plants

We're looking for someone who is not only technically capable, but genuinely excited about thoughtful design, collaborative problem-solving and client satisfaction. • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Excellent design sensibility and strong graphic composition skills
• Strong knowledge of Zone 5 plants
• Organization, initiative and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment

Preferred:

• 2D rendering and 3D modeling experience (Photoshop, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or similar platforms)
