$22 to $28 per hour (based on experience) You're not just "running a crew." You're owning schedule, quality, safety, and production. If you've led installs, can read plans, and hate rework as much as we do, let's talk. Role summary Lead day-to-day field execution for landscape and hardscape design/build projects. You set the pace, train the crew, protect quality, and communicate cleanly with the Project Manager. What winning looks like Milestones hit on time Premium workmanship, minimal rework Safe jobsite, strong standards Accurate daily job notes and time documentation Clean, premium jobsites that protect the brand Key responsibilities Plan the day, assign tasks clearly, keep production moving Read plans/specs, layout accurately, verify elevations and grading Oversee hardscape installs (base prep, drainage, walls, pavers/stone) Oversee landscape sequencing and detail work, clean transitions between scopes Track man-hours vs budget, minimize downtime, reduce rework QC before PM walk-through, self-correct issues early Manage materials and equipment, verify deliveries, protect high-end finishes Enforce safety daily (PPE, equipment operation, excavation awareness) Train and develop the crew, reinforce standards and process discipline Maintain client-facing professionalism onsite, escalate issues or scope changes to PM Requirements 5+ years landscape/hardscape/construction experience Prior crew leadership (typical crew 3 to 4) Strong grading, drainage, base prep, compaction fundamentals Plan reading and layout competency (stringline, laser/transit) Equipment proficiency (skid/mini skid, mini ex, compactors, saws), truck and trailer OSHA 10 preferred (OSHA 30 a plus) Valid driver's license, clean record, towing preferred Benefits Health Spend Account (Winter Pay) Paid Career Development Retirement savings with company matching Company vehicle (role and eligibility dependent) Air Miles (vacations) Discount materials for home use Access to company equipment for home use
