LANDSCAPE DESIGNER POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscape Designer is responsible for supporting the design and execution of landscape projects from concept through completion. This role combines design, planning, and project coordination responsibilities, requiring the ability to develop creative solutions while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with client expectations. The Landscape Designer plays a key role in supporting project flow, collaborating with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality landscape projects.ABOUT IMPERIAL LANDSCAPING & MASONRY

Designs are completed accurately and align with client expectations and project requirements Projects are coordinated effectively from design through execution Communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams is clear and consistent Design work supports efficient project execution with minimal revisions or delays The role contributes to the timely delivery of projects and overall client satisfactionOBJECTIVES
Develop landscape design concepts, plans, and presentations based on client requirements Assist in creating drawings, layouts, and design documentation for projects Support the preparation of project proposals, estimates, and material selections Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to support project execution Manage assigned projects from design phase through completion Attend site visits to assess conditions and support project planning Communicate with clients to clarify design requirements and provide updates Assist in preparing construction documents and project specifications Track project progress and support scheduling and coordination efforts Ensure designs are aligned with project budgets, timelines, and scope Support revisions and adjustments based on feedback and site conditions Maintain organized project files, drawings, and documentationCOMPETENCIES
Landscape design and planning knowledge Ability to translate client needs into design solutions Project coordination and organization skills Strong communication and client interaction ability Attention to detail and design accuracy Time management and ability to manage multiple tasks Problem-solving and adaptability Basic understanding of construction and site development processes Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software Collaboration and teamwork Initiative and self-motivation Accountability and ownership of assigned workEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education in landscape architecture, design, construction, or related field preferred Entry-level to 3 years of relevant experience accepted Internship or hands-on project experience preferred Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Adobe Creative Suite preferred Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and take on responsibility requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to job sites as needed Ability to perform site visits in outdoor environments Ability to work in both office and field settingsCOMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY
