This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys combining landscape design, consultative sales, and relationship-building to create exceptional outdoor environments for residential clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about outdoor living, understands landscape construction and horticulture, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Position Overview The Landscape & Enhancement Sales Lead will oversee the full sales and project development process for residential landscape enhancements and design-build projects. This role blends landscape consulting, conceptual design, estimating, proposal development, and client management. You will work closely with homeowners to understand their vision, develop customized outdoor solutions, and coordinate operations teams to ensure successful project execution. Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consultation & Relationship Management Conduct on-site consultations with homeowners to understand project goals, budgets, and property needs Build strong long-term client relationships through professionalism, responsiveness, and expertise Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the sales and installation process Landscape Design & Enhancement Sales Develop and sell landscape enhancement and design-build projects including planting, hardscape, outdoor living, drainage, lighting, and seasonal enhancements Identify opportunities within existing maintenance accounts and new client inquiries Generate new business through referrals, networking, and strategic outreach Proposal Development & Estimating Prepare professional proposals, estimates, and conceptual layouts for residential projects Coordinate pricing, material selections, and project scope development Follow up consistently on pending proposals and sales opportunities Project Coordination Collaborate with office teams to ensure smooth project execution Conduct site visits during installations to ensure quality standards and client satisfaction Assist with change orders and ongoing communication throughout the project lifecycle Sales Performance & Pipeline Management Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activity Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals Stay current on landscape trends, materials, and market conditions QualificationsRequired Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape sales, design-build sales, account management, or business development Strong understanding of landscape construction, horticulture, and outdoor living environments Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously Strong organizational and follow-up skills Valid driver's license Preferred Experience with Dynascape, SketchUp, or similar landscape design software Estimating and project management experience Field installation knowledge Degree in Landscape Design, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based bonus structure Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with company matching Paid time off and holidays Long-term career growth opportunity with a respected and growing company Supportive team environment with experienced leadership and operations staff
