Job Description

Position Overview An established multidisciplinary design practice is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to lead complex projects from concept through construction. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who brings strong design leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to guide both clients and internal teams. The Senior Landscape Architect will shape project vision, manage quality across all deliverables, and contribute to the strategic growth of the landscape architecture studio.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead site planning, landscape design, and documentation for a variety of project types including cultural, civic, institutional, commercial, and mixed use developmentsOversee project workflow, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy across all phasesManage client relationships and represent the firm throughout the design and construction processCoordinate with internal architecture, planning, and engineering teamsMentor junior and mid level staff, providing guidance on design, detailing, and professional developmentPrepare and deliver presentations, renderings, and project narrativesReview drawings, specifications, and construction submittals for compliance with project standardsQualificationsProfessional degree in Landscape ArchitectureMinimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experienceStrong portfolio demonstrating leadership in built work and conceptual designProficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling softwareKnowledge of planting design, materials, grading, and construction documentationExcellent communication, organization, and team leadership abilitiesLicensure preferred
