Description:
Acorn Engineering, Inc., a Maine-based, 100% employee-owned civil engineering, landscape architecture, surveying and construction administration firm, is currently seeking a Landscape Designer to join our growing landscape studio. This position is associated with our Portland, Maine office, located at the edge of the Old Port. The role offers designers a unique opportunity to guide development projects across Maine. Project work includes parks, trails, master planning, affordable housing, residential and commercial site planning and urban infill, streetscape design, shoreline stabilization, nature-based design solutions, and community engagement opportunities. The position includes working with landscape, civil and survey teams, preparing graphic and presentation materials, drafting and plan set development, permit application assembly, site analysis, research, and design. This position would report to the Landscape Architecture Project Manager. After you have submitted your application, please email work samples in PDF format to info@acorn-engineering.com . Requirements:
