Landscape Architect I BKV Group - 3.5 Minneapolis, MN Job Details $80,000 - $90,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications 3D modeling software Revit Productivity software Building information modeling (BIM) tools 3D modeling for architectural design Full Job Description This role is located in Chicago, IL or Minneapolis, MN Job Description BKV seeks a Landscape Architect I with 4-8 years' related experience to join our growing Urban Design and Landscape Architecture practice. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team-oriented individual with strong time management skills, with experience in all phases of design and documentation. Project related responsibilities include the following: Assist with precedent and visioning studies. Assist in the implementation of design concepts primarily for multi-family residential exterior spaces and physical environments. Prepare complete and comprehensive plans, schedules, and details utilizing Revit software for the landscape architectural construction documents under the guidance of the Director of VP of Urban Design and Landscape Architecture. Coordinate the architectural Revit model with each discipline for a complete and coordinated 3-D model and 2-D drawing deliverable as required at each phase of the project. Create color plans, renderings, project elevations, perspectives, and presentation boards for client and other misc. meetings. Work closely with the project team to support the construction administration phase with responding to RFI's, submittal reviews, ASI's and PR's. Qualifications Landscape Architecture degree from an accredited university, with 4-8 years' experience as a licensed landscape architect. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field such as placemaking, ecology, stormwater/drainage, climate, soil, grading, and plant materials. The ability to evaluate the project's impact on the local ecosystem at all stages. Experience with green roof construction a plus. Must be proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional technical skills preferred, such as SketchUp.
Compensation range:
