Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Design Consultant and unleash your creativity and technical expertise to craft inspiring outdoor environments. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, project managers, and contractors to develop innovative landscape designs that blend aesthetic appeal with functional sustainability. Your passion for horticulture, sustainable practices, and cutting-edge design tools will drive the transformation of outdoor spaces into vibrant, welcoming landscapes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on communities while honing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Duties Work closely with clients to understand their vision, needs, and site-specific conditions for landscape projects Develop detailed landscape plans using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation YouVision. Incorporate sustainable design principles and environmentally friendly practices into all project proposals Conduct land surveying and site analysis utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools like Property Intell to gather project information and takeoffs. Prepare construction documents, including hardscape layouts, irrigation plans, and landscaping details Collaborate with civil engineers and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet all safety standards Assist in project management tasks such as construction estimating, scheduling, and site inspections to ensure quality execution Support landscape maintenance planning by recommending appropriate plantings and materials for long-term sustainability Qualifications Proven experience in landscape design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects Proficiency in SketchUp, YouVision, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and Adobe Creative Suite tools Knowledge of horticulture practices, land surveying techniques, irrigation systems, and sustainable landscaping methods Familiarity with civil engineering concepts relevant to landscape projects including grading, drainage, and land development processes Strong drafting skills with attention to detail and precision in technical documentation Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively Effective communication skills to present ideas clearly to clients and team members A degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture or related discipline is preferred but not mandatory Embark on a career that combines creativity with technical mastery—help us shape outdoor spaces that inspire communities while advancing your professional growth!

$69,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
