Within our Cities & Places business, we bring together planners, designers, engineers, and strategists to shape resilient, connected, and livable environments. As we continue to expand the Advance Planning Group (APG) , we are seeking a Landscape Architect Principal to help drive growth, strengthen our market presence, and deliver integrated design solutions across the Americas. In this role, you'll serve as both a design and business leader—growing our landscape architecture practice while building strong client relationships and advancing key strategic initiatives. You'll lead multidisciplinary teams, contribute to high-impact pursuits, and deliver resilient planning and design strategies that integrate across markets including water, transportation, environment, and advanced facilities. What You'll Do Lead and grow the landscape architecture practice within APG, particularly in the Atlanta market and across the Americas Partner with regional and market leaders to develop and execute strategy, expand market share, and position for downstream opportunities Deliver integrated planning, urban design, and landscape architecture solutions across sectors including commercial, healthcare, higher education, and science & technology Build and maintain strong client relationships, driving business development and strategic pursuits Champion interdisciplinary collaboration across Jacobs' end markets to deliver resilience-focused and nature-positive solutions Mentor, develop, and inspire talent while fostering a culture of inclusion, innovation, and performance excellence Contribute to thought leadership through speaking engagements, publications, and industry presence Support proposal development, pursuits, and strategic partnerships to extend the Jacobs brand Oversee project performance, including financial management, forecasting, backlog growth, and risk mitigation Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute annual business plans, including revenue and margin targets Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Planning, Architecture, or a related field Minimum of 20 years of progressive professional experience in landscape architecture, planning, or urban design Demonstrated success in business development, client engagement, and practice growth Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Ability to travel regionally and nationally as needed Valid U.S. driver's license Ideally, You'll Also Have Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a related discipline Professional licensure (PLA, AIA, AICP, or equivalent) Established industry reputation with a strong professional network Experience working across multiple geographies and market sectors Demonstrated thought leadership in resilience, sustainability, or climate-responsive design Experience integrating landscape architecture solutions with infrastructure, environmental, and urban systems Familiarity with financial metrics, forecasting, and business planning within a professional services environment

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $144,700.00 to $203,300.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
