Job Title:
Landscape Architect Job Description The Landscape Architect will assist in all technical aspects of planning, site design, and project production activities required on assigned projects. The role involves understanding technical policies and procedures, developing technical planning studies, conducting site investigations, and creating landscape designs. The Landscape Architect will also assist the project team in scoping and budgeting to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and of the highest technical quality. Responsibilities Coordinate with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities regarding site planning, permitting, and landscape requirements. Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, clients, and client representatives to determine project scope and achieve successful project construction. Coordinate landscape and site designs with other disciplines to determine needs, resolve problems, and provide technical information. Assist management in establishing project budgets and schedules. Attend meetings with owners, clients, or other designers as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in landscape design and architecture. Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or
REVIT. B.S.
degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program. State of Tennessee Landscape Architect license or the ability to obtain it. Three or more years of applicable experience in landscape architecture design. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with a variety of project types, including urban and downtown municipal, K-12, higher education, and commercial site developments. Experience working with State agencies and/or healthcare facilities. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and visualization software. Experience in project management and marketing of landscape architecture services. Work Environment The position involves working in both office and field settings. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jackson, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $50.49/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
