Front End Loader Operator - (Third Shift) GP

Universal Logistics of Virginia (A wholly owned subsidiary of Estes Express Lines, Inc) is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Front End Loader Operator (Third Shift) to join our team in Talladega, AL. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently load open-top trailers with wood chips and bark. This position requires precision, safety awareness, and a commitment to maintaining equipment and work areas.

Schedule:

(Third Shift) Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am (OT after 40 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CAT 950 front end loader to load open-top trailers with wood chips and bark. Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

Verified prior experience operating a front-end loader in a similar environment (required). CDL-A preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Strong commitment to workplace safety. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:

Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license; CDL-A is a plus. Must pass background check and drug screening.
