Wood Grinding Unlimited is seeking a reliable and experienced front end loader operator to join our busy yard team in Bridgeport, CT. This position involves operating heavy equipment to load mulch, topsoil, and manage incoming wood waste. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in yard operations, and the ability to work well with customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities include:

Safely operate a loader to load both large and small landscape trucks Accurately measure and load mulch, topsoil, and other bulk materials Dump and manage incoming wood waste Write load/dump tickets for every customer Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers Maintain equipment and help keep the yard organized

Requirements:

Prior experience operating loaders (minimum 1-2 years preferred) Strong understanding of yardage measurements Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Customer service experience Must be available full-time (6 days/week) during peak season (spring-fall) Part-time hours from late December to early March Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
