Job Description

Arbor Equity is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Grapple Truck Operator to join our growing team. This role primarily involves driving but also requires operating the truck-mounted crane and grapple attachment to safely load and unload logs, branches, and debris from job sites. The ideal candidate takes pride in their equipment, works well in a team environment, and thrives in outdoor, hands-on work. Key Responsibilities Drive and operate a grapple truck to haul wood, debris, and other materials to and from job sites Safely load and unload logs, tree trunks, and branches using the grapple attachment Assist with job site cleanup to ensure safety and efficiency Perform routine vehicle and equipment maintenance, including checking fluids, bolts, filters, and greasing bearings Identify and report mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the foreman or operations manager Work in all weather conditions and be available for additional shifts as needed (storm response, weekends, emergency work) Track inventory and submit required reports to management Requirements Valid CDL (Commercial Drivers License) required Experience operating grapple trucks, cranes, or similar heavy equipment Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials when necessary Strong work ethic and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Why Work at Arbor Equity?
