Log Loader Operator

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a skilled Log Loader Operator to join our team. As a Log Loader Operator, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of heavy equipment, specifically log loaders, at our Log Yard located in Winnfield, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience in Log Loader operation>, , and environments, as well as experience performing basic maintenance of loading equipment. Experience in loading log trucks is not necessarily required for this position. Pay is negotiable depending on experience and skills sets. The candidate will be vetted further during the interview process.

Duties:

• Operate and maintain loaders to transport and load logs within the log yard
• Safely maneuver equipment to perform tasks such as loading and unloading log trucks
• Conduct routine inspections on the loader to ensure proper functioning
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Assist in other duties as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in or similar roles.
• Familiarity with and procedures
• Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as log loaders and other heavy equipment
• Knowledge of basic mechanics of log loaders to include basic hydraulics.
• Valid commercial driver's license for potential driving requirements
