Landscaping Crew Leader / Skid Loader Operator - Full-Time - Immediate Hire! Frederick, MD | Year-Round Work | Competitive Pay Apply in person at 5397 Agro Dr Frederick MD. Monday - Friday 8-4pm. CHS Landscaping, Inc. is hiring Landscape Foremen and Skid loader Operators to join our growing team! If you have leadership experience in landscaping and expertise in operating heavy equipment, we want to hear from you.
About Us:
We are a grading, seeding, production landscaping, excavation, and snow removal company serving Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. We specialize in working with new home builders and contractors , installing silt fence, super silt fence, new yards (seed and sod), shrub packages, and fine grading around foundations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Crew Leaders / Equipment Operators to oversee landscaping projects, manage teams, and operate skid loaders, mini-excavators, and other machinery. This is a full-time, year-round position with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team to complete landscaping and excavation projects efficiently Operate equipment such as skid loaders, mini-hoes, and track loaders Perform fine grading, foundation backfilling, and excavation for dry wells/rain gardens Install tree, shrub, and flower plantings Handle mulching, pruning, sod work, and erosion control measures Assist with hardscape installations (patios, walkways, retaining walls) Ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction
Requirements:

Foreman Experience:
Minimum 2 years in the landscaping industry ✅
Equipment Operation:
Experience with skid loaders, mini-excavators, and attachments ✅
Leadership Skills:
Ability to manage and motivate a team ✅
Work Ethic:
Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude ✅ Driver's License Required (DOT Medical Card preferred or must obtain one)
