EXPERIENCE IS NOT REQUIRED BUT YOU WILL NEED TO BE COMFORTABLE WORKING OUTDOORS IN THE HEAT AND COLD ENVIRONMENT. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSISTING THE LOGGER WITH PULLING TREES, LOADING TRUCKS, MEASURING LOGS ACCURATELY, AND RIDING TO SAWMILL. YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH STOOPING, BENDING, AND KNEELING. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU CANNOT PERFORM THESE TASKS.

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Logging Assistant. You will have to work diligently, safely, and wisely. Operate machinery and equipment used in the processing of logs, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assist in the loading and unloading of logs from trucks and other vehicles. Sort and grade logs based on quality and size specifications. Comfortable using tape measure. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while ensuring high-quality standards are met. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly. Experience Previous experience in a lumber yard, forestry, or similar environment is preferred but not required. Willing to train dedicated, responsible person. Familiarity with operating heavy machinery such as forklifts or log loaders is advantageous. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on communication and collaboration. A commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
