Job Description
(As seen in the Norfolk Daily News) Road Maintenance Operator Stanton County Road Dept is currently accepting applications for a full time Road Maintenance Operator at the Pilger Shop (Dist No.3). Applicants must be 18 years of age & have a commercial driver's license (CDL-class A) with a good driving record. Applicants must be experienced in operating a motor grader, loader, gravel truck w/pup, pay or wheel loader, semi w/trailer & other equipment. Knowledge of or use of the equipment listed is beneficial, as well as the ability to care for & safely operate the equipment & any small tools. Work requires a considerable amount of physical activity. Work may be performed outdoors year-round & in inclement weather & requires the ability to tolerate weather conditions. Applicants must work regularly scheduled hours & any required overtime, weekends & holidays.
